The Commemorative Walkway

The Commemorative Walkway is located
at the Bunker Hill Historic Area of Kennekuk County Park.  It lies just south of the Gazebo and runs between the Neff Grocery and the Atwood House.

The Commemorative Walkway at the Bunker Hill Historic Area of Kennekuk County Park offers an opportunity for people to recognize a special acheivement such as a retirement, graduation, promotion, wedding or anniversasry or just to show your support for the one-of-a-kind system of educational and recreationaly facilities that make up the Vermilion County Conservation District.

The walkway can also provide a means to establish a lasting memorial to a loved one.

The specially engraved bricks come in two sizes with the regular sized brick(4"by 8") selling for one-hundred dollars, while the oversized bricks(8" by 8") sell for $200.  Any number of characters from zero up to but not exceeding fifteen can be included on each line.  See the order form for more details.

Proceeds from the sale of the bricks go toward the programs, activities and projects of the VCCDFoundation.

Shiitake Mushroom Research
